Frequently Asked Questions

If you have any questions we have not answered on this page, please do not hesistate to contact us by using our form on the Contact page! We will try and get back to you as soon as we can!
Visiting our tasting room?
  1. Do you need reservations for tastings?
No! Our tasting room is open to the public! We do not require reservations for tastings except for if you have a larger party we do request that you call ahead so we can be ready for you!
  2. Do you allow outside food and picnics?
Absolutely! We want our guests to come and spend as long as they want with us! Nothing goes better with wine then friends, cheese & crackers, picnics, or in fact food in general! Whether it be in our tasting room, our outdoor patio, or even amongst the vines in our vineyard on a blanket we encourage it!
  3. Are pets allowed?
Yes they are! As long as they are leashed and friendly they are more than welcome! We do ask that you clean up after your pets and do not leave them unattended!
  4. Do you allow for larger groups?
Yes we do! We have a larger table in our tasting room that can accommodate groups of 20 or less. On weekends we have to limit our groups to less than 20 to be fair to other guests as well. If you do in fact have a group larger than that please contact us about booking our private event space.
  5. Do you have any live music?
Yes we do! Every Sunday we have different musicians come in and play for your enjoyment (and of course ours)! Check out our Upcoming Events tab for the scheduled line up! We also post these things on our Facebook and Instagram pages!
  1. Do you supply food?
We do! We currently do A La Carte options as well as Charcuterie Boards with many options! Stop in soon and give them a try! You still may pack your own lunch and order from our menu as well if something catches your eye!
  2. Are we allowed to bring outside beverages?
Unfortunately no! Our Farm Winery Permit restricts us to not allowing outside beverages at all! It could jeopardize our license! We do have water, soda, and coffee available in our tasting room for all the non wine-o's and juice boxes available for children!
  3. Tours of your basement?
We are not currently doing tours of our basement at this time! We are very much working on times and days that we will be doing tours and you will be the first to know when this takes off!
  4. How much are your tastings?
We have three different types of tastings! Our 5 wine tasting is $10 and includes 5 of our whites & roses or all 5 of our red wines as well as a souvenir glass! Our second tasting allows you to try a mixture of 7 wines, it is $15 a person and also includes a souvenir glass! Lastly for $18 you get the chance to try all 10 of our wines that we make onsite!
About Our Wines
  1. How old are your vines?
We have vines in the back of our property older than 5 years. This started out as a hobby and grew into a beautiful thing (just like some of our vines)!
  2. Do all of your grapes come from your vineyard?
We use all of the grapes from our vineyard as well as bring in some grapes from a few different locations (Upstate New York all the way to California) to blend with our harvest and for the varieties that cannot thrive in Connecticut!
  3. Where did the photos on your labels come from?
All of the pictures we use on our labels were taken onsite by family members! As a family we decide on the label names and the pictures that can correspond! If you have taken a beautiful picture on our grounds please submit it! You may have a chance to getting it onto one of our labels!
  1. How long has your family been in the wine making business?
The Brignole family has always enjoyed wine! About five years ago Tim Brignole decided he loved it so much he was going to try making it himself (we will admit it wasn't the best tasting wine)! We grew from there with a passion for the process and of course making better wine!
  2. Are you working on more varieties of wine?
Yes of course! We are constantly coming up with new ideas and I do not think that will ever stop! There are so many different things we are aspiring to create for your palate and we cannot wait for you to try them!
  3. Do you add sulfites into your wine?
Yes we do, but we only add the minimal amount necessary!
